Freddy King is one of my favorite electric blues guitar masters ... and what I like about the folowing song and transcription is that Freddy played (recorded) this tune, "Dust My Broom," on the acoustic guitar ... so there's a nice mix of useful acoustic blues guitar riffs/licks, as well as some licks/riffs that are typical of his work in/on electric blues guitar.
As always ... take your time ... play it slow ... pay attention to the notes that are tied together (triplets - counted 1-2-3, or trip-a-let, or dah-dah-dah) ... learn to crawl before you walk or run ... learn one measure at a time ... once you can finger all the postions and notes, try playing it as a medium shuffle ... but remember ... all of this should sound just as good played slowly as it does at a medum or fast tempo.

Have fun.

Sweet.... Thank you so much Hawkeye! Really love Freddy King's stuff. Thank you for posting this one as an acoustic piece. I really appreciate that.

jaycee and Bluesguy,

Happy to oblige ... I think you'll find some useful locks/riffs that you can use in other blues songs.

Note that the first four bars/measures of the introduction are Freddy King's version of the classic Elmore James lick, but played without a slide.

Enjoy.
